We love food. We love wine. We love racing. So we named Ascari Enoteca after one of our heroes, 1950’s Italian racing legend, Alberto Ascari. He was as famous for his appetite for food and wine as he was for his talent for racing, earning him the nickname “ciccio” ‘ Italian for ‘chubby’.
Italian chefs Luciano Schipano (Calabria) and Massimo Bruno (Puglia) have joined forces with olive oil & wine producer Gaia Massai (Tuscany) and Toronto-based food writer Mark Cirillo (author, Pizza Cultura) to launch a new Italian culinary studio in Toronto’s Corso Italia neighbourhood.
The name is Quanto Basta. When do you say you’ve had enough? Dionysus, who we’re sure would be a regular, would say there is always room for good food and drink. When you come to Quanto Basta, you’re sure to leave satisfied. But how much is enough?
Yolanda's Spuntino Casa is located in a Heritage home built in 1843 in Bronte Harbour, Oakville located on Lake Ontario. Home to some of Oakville's first farmers markets and small fishing villages. We take inspiration from our family's Nonna Yolanda, our neighbourhood history as well as the regional influences of Central and Southern Italy. The menu highlights sustainable seafood, fresh handmade pasta, seasonal vegetables, classic Italian spuntino and a thoughtful Italian cocktail and wine list.
Giro d’Italia is brought to you by American Express and The Italian Trade Commission. The festival is also proudly organized by The Consorzio di Ristoranti Italiani.
The Consorzio is a group of Italian restaurant owners and chefs working together to celebrate regional Italian cuisine through authentic food and experiences.
