Cherie Dee Leal was born in the Phillipines. Her passion for food was inspired greatly by her grandmother Lola’s cooking. In 2008, she enrolled in Hotel and Restaurant management and began her formal training. In 2010, she immigrated to Canada and had stints around Toronto’s restaurant scene.
Her willingness to continue to learn took her to Bricco. Bricco’s owner, Eric, believes that pasta was calling her. After becoming the pastaia, she rolled, mixed, cut and formed get way to the executive chef position. Her journey and talent continues to soar.
